Refresh Radar

WHAT_YOU_GET

What this changes in your workflow

See which published articles are due for attention, start a protected refresh revision and build content maintenance into the calendar.

  • Make maintenance visible

See overdue, due-soon and healthy article states without waiting for traffic loss to expose the problem.

  • Prioritise locally

Use next-review date, cadence and WordPress modification history without requiring AI.

  • Start safely

Create or reuse a protected Strive revision so the published article remains untouched during work.

  • Carry opportunities into the workflow

Turn approved refresh opportunities into visible revision action items rather than unattended rewrites.

  • Schedule the next review

Record refresh completion and set the next review when the revision is republished.

AI_NOTE

Where AI fits

Optional enhanced refresh analysis can suggest what a human should verify. The provider is not assumed to verify current facts or the live web.

AI_POLICY // WORDPRESS_NATIVE

AI is optional, and it never acts alone

Strive uses the AI provider connected to WordPress. There is no Strive-hosted AI service and no credit meter.

  • Strive remains useful without AI.
  • Strive never asks you to paste provider API keys into the plugin.
  • AI features use the native WordPress AI connection and require WordPress 7.0 or later plus a compatible configured provider.
  • Article content is sent only when an authorised user explicitly runs an eligible AI action.
  • Private editorial notes are excluded from AI prompts.
  • AI output is a proposal, not an automatic publication decision.
  • A failed AI request leaves content, status, schedule and publication state unchanged.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Does Refresh Radar require AI?

No. Due, due-soon, healthy and overdue states are computed locally.

Does starting a refresh change the live article?

No. Strive creates or reuses a protected revision.

Can AI rewrite an outdated article automatically?

No. Enhanced analysis can propose opportunities. Approved opportunities become action items, not unattended rewrites.

Does Strive know whether every fact is current?

No. Refresh Radar helps prioritise verification; an AI provider must not be presented as a live-web fact checker.

Can I set a review cadence?

Yes. Refresh priority can use an explicit next-review date and cadence.
