The content calendar can show you all of your upcoming and recently published posts. It is the primary view for post planning and scheduling.
However, it does have one weakness: it doesn’t show you all of your unscheduled drafts. That’s where the Pipeline is useful.
In the Pipeline, you can view all of your drafts whether they are scheduled or not.
While you won’t use the Pipeline nearly as often as the content calendar, many bloggers find it helpful to check occasionally. It’s perfect for catching posts you forgot to schedule or to get a birds-eye view of how your articles are progressing.
If you want to make edits to one of the posts, you can click anywhere on it to open the editor in a new tab.
Return to the Pipeline about once a week to make sure there aren’t any posts that you or your authors have left behind.
